TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

Welcome to Friday Crafted. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

2. Definitions

  • “Customer” refers to the individual or entity purchasing products or services from Friday Crafted.

  • “Friday Crafted” refers to the business providing bespoke timber furniture and built-in timber joinery.

3. Orders

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

  • Once an order is placed, a confirmation email will be sent to the Customer.

  • Any changes to the order must be communicated within 48 hours of order confirmation.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in Australian dollars and are subject to change without notice.

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm any custom order. The balance is due upon completion and before the order is sent for delivery or collected from our workshop.

  • Payment is due within 14 days from the date of the invoice.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer (EFT).

5. Custom Orders

  • Custom orders require a detailed specification provided by the Customer.

  • An estimated timeline will be provided at the time of quotation.

  • Quotes for custom orders are valid for 60 days from the date of issue.

  • Any changes to custom orders must be agreed upon by both parties and may incur additional costs.

6. Production and Lead Time

  • Production lead time is typically 4 weeks from order confirmation and deposit payment.

  • Delays may occur due to material availability or other unforeseen circumstances. Friday Crafted will notify the Customer of any significant delays.

7. Delivery and Installation

  • Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Delivery and installation fees are calculated based on the location and scope of the project.

  • The Customer is responsible for providing clear access to the delivery and installation site.

8. Warranty and Returns

  • Friday Crafted offers a 2 year warranty on craftsmanship and materials under normal use.

  • Warranty claims must be made in writing and accompanied by proof of purchase.

  • Custom orders are non-refundable. Standard products can be returned within 14 days in their original condition for a refund, excluding delivery charges.

9. Natural Variations and Handcrafted Quality

  • Timber is a natural material, and each piece of timber furniture will have its own unique characteristics.

  • As all our furniture is handcrafted, slight variations in color, grain, and finish may occur.

  • These variations are part of the organic beauty of timber and make each piece unique. Although designs may be similar, no two pieces will be exactly identical.

10. Care and Maintenance

  • Proper care and maintenance of timber products are essential for longevity. Friday Crafted provides care instructions with each product.

  • Failure to follow care instructions may void the warranty.

11. Liability

  • Friday Crafted is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.

  • Our liability is limited to the replacement or repair of defective products.

12. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, images, and content related to Friday Crafted are the intellectual property of Friday Crafted.

  • Unauthorised use of our intellectual property is prohibited.

13. Amendments

  • Friday Crafted reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

  • Customers will be notified of any significant changes.
